Over more than four decades, we've completed more than $1 billion in development projects — over 8,000 units across Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. We've built affordable multi-family communities and senior housing that doesn't look or feel like an afterthought. That's been the standard since the beginning.

Our president, Ike J. Monty, is a native El Pasoan with over 46 years in housing development. He's not a developer who landed in the affordable housing space — he helped build it here. More than 30 IBI developments and 2,500 units in El Paso alone bear that out, as does a long-standing relationship with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

The team around him has been here just as long. Together, they bring over 50 years of combined experience — and the kind of institutional knowledge you only build by working in the same communities for generations.

IBI is recognized by TDHCA, has been involved in hundreds of millions in LIHTC-financed development, and continues to be active across the Southwest with projects currently under development.
